Martin C. Spieker
Martin Spieker is native to British Columbia, with undergraduate degrees from Simon Fraser University followed by graduate Law Degree at University of Western Australia and University of New Brunswick.
He was called to the Bar in 1999, and over the last 15 years has worked with McNeney and McNeney developing over a thousand personal injury files on behalf of injured persons; many involving complex evidence reflecting life-changing physical, psychological, and emotional injuries. He has successfully dealt with hundreds of challenging liability circumstances over time involving motor vehicle, motorcycle and bicycle collisions as well as pedestrian incidents, and insurance coverage issues. As an avid cyclist and motorcyclist he brings additional personal experience to cases involving collisions with such vehicles. As a Barrister in Supreme Court trials, he is at ease presenting cases before Judge or Jury and has successfully taken over a hundred cases to judgement. He takes pride in providing support, personal service, and direct communication with clients. As a supporter of access to justice, he makes time to volunteer for Legal Services Society Access Pro Bono Clinic in Vancouver. He has lives with his family in North Vancouver.
